MersifLab Emerges as Top 9 Grand Finalist in Indonesia AI Innovation Challenge

The Indonesia AI Innovation Challenge 2023 was an AI innovation event organized with a format that included business incubation and pitching sessions in front of potential investors. The Grand Final event took place on Thursday, August 24, 2023, at the Grand Ballroom JIExpo Kemayoran, concurrently with the Indonesia 4.0 Conference & Expo. MersifLab, a team from UNS, consisting of students from the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, presented a VR product integrated with AI technology, aimed at making the learning process more interactive and immersive. The application utilized virtual reality technology accessible via Oculus Quest or smartphones, and users could easily create VR spaces using laptops. The CEO of MersifLab expressed their pride, "We are proud to contribute to the development of integrated VR-AI technology in Indonesia. Through this competition, we hope that our research and technology development can have a positive impact, especially in the field of education."
